The season
Crescendo is the 2024 FRC game. Two alliances made of three robots each score notes, a 14 inch orange foam ring, into the speaker, an opening set 6 and a half feet up the alliance wall, or the amp, a waist high pocket beside it. Scoring two notes in the amp amplifies the speaker for ten seconds, and every note scored in that window is worth more than double. Robots finish the match by climbing a chain hung under the stage, a three legged truss at the center of the field, and can score one last note in the trap above the chain.
